Zach and I babysat our 1-year old niece this past weekend...and it was fun, busy, eye-opening and tiring all at the same time! You can never be prepared enough for when your own baby arrives and this was a great test for us. We were awakened in the middle of the night, changed lots of diapers and loved every minute that we spent with her. It's always fun to spoil your nieces (and nephews someday) and give them back at the end of the weekend!
I've been around a lot of babies, toddlers and kids over the years and Liv's personality is one-of-a-kind. She is 95% happy and when she's not, there's a good reason and it's usually an easy fix. She loves to laugh, play hide-and-seek, run around and explore and sometimes even will cuddle!
We got pretty attached to her this weekend and it was hard giving her back, even though we live in the same town and I know we'll see her soon!

Liv is so blessed to have a family that adores her so much. You and Zach are going to be wonderful parents. Whitney & Andrew will be sharing pictures just like this of your baby soon--there is nothing besides God's love that can compare to the love of family. Thank you for taking such great care with her.
