We have been working on our yard every sunny chance we get and it is starting to look really good! The biggest job was getting the pool water (rainy swampy water) pumped out and cleaned. We've gotten the water out and are now working on disinfecting everything and re-plastering a few holes. Should be able to fill it up in the next couple of weeks! And let's just hope the rain holds off until then. And a big thanks to my MIL who got into the pool and cleaned out all the muck and gunk that was at the bottom. Couldn't have done it without her willingness to get dirty!
Leave it to the Milner boys to come up with a water pump contraption.
It's slowly going down!
And the icky part

Last week, my mom helped me plant some garden beds and pots...it was fun and so nice to add some color to our backyard. It's amazing what some pretty flowers can do for your mood. I love spending time outside now and the watering is keeping me pretty busy.
And finally, we were able to install our sprinkler system in the backyard. My dad came up to help Zach dig trenches and lay the PVC and we are SO excited to not have to hand water the backyard grass....well, there's no grass yet. But that will be planted soon!
