Job Updates!

We've had a great week, enjoyed some good sunshine along with a few rainstorms and have had some luck with the jobs!

I got a call last week for piano lessons and started teaching a very cute 9 year old girl. Even though she's only had 6 months of former lessons, she's off to a great start. Zach also got a call this week about soccer training and will be coaching a teenage boy on Friday who wants to become a professional goalkeeper! We're so excited for this great blessing!

Some other fun stuff...

We've been renting movies for the past month that have received the "Best Motion Picture" Oscar Award from 1980-2010. The older movies are harder to find, but we're making progress. Out of the 31 movies, we've seen 15 of them. It's fun and keeps our Friday nights somewhat exciting since we don't have the funds to go out anymore.

In more of our spare time, we've been working on quite a few puzzles here - usually 750 to 1000 piece ones. We get them for $1 at the Salvation Army and usually finish them within 4 hours. Our record is 3.5 hours for a 1000 piece.

In order to get our exercise in for the day, we've created a home gym complete with weights, a cardio station and a yoga mat. I can feel the calories burning off already! The weight bar is made out of a broomstick with two grocery bags on each end. Inside the bags are cans of dog food and jugs of water. After a few reps, we switch to the next station which might include abs/pushups or running up and down the stairs for some cardio training. :) I think we've been watching too much of The Biggest Loser here. But, it's inspired us to keep fit!

MORE PICS FROM THIS WEEK...

A six-legged spider? I found this in our garden, but not really sure what it is.

Getting rained out trying to play tennis. Just wait 10 minutes and it'll clear right up!

While you wait for the rain to stop, might as well do some dips!

Oliver loves sleeping on his back with his 4 paws in the air - very cute!

Getting the frogs and lizards out of the pool so we can swim!
Oh and I rescued a mouse in it the other day, too!
