Work, Work, Work...and Celebrations

We are very grateful to have some extra casual work this week. There's nothing like the feeling of living on your last dollar...but thankfully we got a call this week from the President of Rotary, who needed some laborers!

The Task: Cleaning and Organizing a Cafe/Art Gallery at a Bed & Breakfast.

The building has been sitting empty for about a year and is full of cobwebs, rat poo and dust. We'll probably put about 15 hours in this week and are going through every inch with warm water and bleach. It's a really cool looking place and will soon be leased out to somebody who wants to run it.

And...we celebrated two years of marriage yesterday! After Zach worked in the morning at the dairy farm, we had a quick lunch and headed over to spend 4 hours cleaning the cafe. Then, raced home to clean up and we enjoyed a nice dinner at the golf club restaurant. After not eating out for a while, you really savor and enjoy every minute of someone else cooking for you!

Thanks also to my mom who left us a stack of anniversary cards that she had collected and brought with her. And thanks to everyone else for the anniversary wishes! We love you all!
